Vapor coming out the hood vent

Hi, Recently i started to notice alot of vapor coming out from the hood vent after a car wash.. is this normal ?

Water from the car wash is evaporating on the hot engine.

i had the car for a year, first time i see this amount of vapor. actually never saw vapor before

It's been much colder than normal across most of the US the past few weeks - greater temperature differential between your engine and the ambient air = more
visible evaporation (vapor).

I'm not saying that is 100% the answer, but if I were a betting man...

Had the same issue pop up. LA had its first hard rain a couple of months ago and I had parked the car on the driveway at an angle overnight . The next day I took it for a spin and tons of vapor coming from the front end after a few minutes on the road. Freaked me out at for a quick second because I thought the engine was overheating. I’ve had the car for a year and never seen that happen but it was just water vapor that went away after about 20 minutes or so.

Thought maybe these were the "iron horse" special edition Mustangs and that was the "exhaust" coming from the vent...
