[Track Setup] Non-HP Dark Horse, 305 Square on Stock Non-HP Springs, Sway Bar Setup

305 square on stock non-HP MagneRide springs, what sway bar setup worked best?

  • 1. OEM Dark Horse bars 305s were enough, stock bars worked well.

  • 2. Rear bar only, soft/medium 305s helped, but the rear bar improved rotation.

TL;DR: 2024 Non-HP Dark Horse MagneRide, factory bars, stock non-HP springs. Staying stock height for driveway clearance. Planning APEX VS-5RE 19x11 ET52 + 25mm front spacers, 305/30R19 square, likely Goodyear Supercar 3 or Nankang CR-S. Looking for real-world sway bar feedback from anyone who has run 305s on stock non-HP springs.

Hey everyone, looking for guys who have run 305 square on stock non-HP MagneRide springs on a Non-HP Dark Horse or S650 GT PP.

Current: Factory bars, stock non-HP springs, driven to/from the track, ∼3.5k mi/year, mostly track/autocross.

Planned: APEX VS-5RE 19x11 ET52 square, 25mm front spacers, 305/30R19 square on Supercar 3 or Nankang CR-S, camber plates. Also considering Steeda IRS braces / G-Trac / alignment dowels. Worthwhile on stock springs?

Main question: Did the 305s alone reduce the factory push, or did you need a rear bar, or both bars? What setup gave you the best turn-in and rotation without getting loose? Looking for good high-speed stability, crisp turn-in, and a car that tucks on lift.

Track focus, autocross secondary.

Thanks!
