Torque and wheel spacers, locking the hub to torque the spacer.

What's everyone doing to lock the hub to torque the spacer to the hub? Am I over thinking this? I'm using the Steeda recommended 1" front and 20mm rear.

I used a brake depressor tool.
You could use something like a cut down broomstick maybe a brick..
