The conversation got to the question of tinting the headlamp covers with a % (in most States) that would be legal on a passenger window? Any guidelines on this subject?
I’m sorry, but I think it’s absolutely stupid to tint your headlights or tint your tail lights. want to see where you’re going and the other so that idiot behind you sees you. But hey that’s just me.

Am I reading this right? You drilled into the clear part of the headlight and screwed the covers (drilled the covers too) onto the headlight?

Got pictures of installed, in between, and uninstalled?
Yes, you are reading that right.
Some pics below.

i had those on dam rock shipped em, saved my headlight though. I used some strategically placed velcro to stick tem on. how did you make them stick and be tremovable? love the look.
Thanks! Velcro or the 3M Dual Lock fasteners was the original plan but that would have had the cover protruding out past the fender and front valance where it wraps around the side.

you drilled thru the headlight lenses? good luck with water intrusion and getting the lights to last very long. don't ask for a warranty fix because they will laugh at you.
Very good! Thank you for your concern!
Fortunately, the screws holding the covers on, fill and seal those holes perfectly.
At any rate, if they should happen to get moisture in them, only an idiot would try and claim warranty. I'd probably just take them apart like I have countless other headlights.

Only 2 screws per cover and one of them is hidden under the hood when it is closed.
Not much else to show...but I'm happy to oblige if there is something specific anyone wants to see.
