Thinking of moving my convertible's 3rd brake light and replacing it with the RTR Duckbill spoiler. I'd move the 3rd brakelight down below the license plate with the Form Lighting LED reverse Lamp w/ Brakelight. My thought is, if I keep the original 3rd brakelight unplugged, that shouldn't throw any codes correct? This is coming from someone who has zero experience with vehicles.

Not sure where you are located but it might be illegal. I know when I added a bed cover on my truck that covered the 3rd light it came with this form that said I was responsible for making sure the covers 3rd light worked.
on the other had…..why the heck does ford delete spoilers on convertibles?????? I am going to add one to mine soon.

He said he will add a third brake light below the license plate.
So he will still have a third brake light.

The FMVSS (Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard) No. 108 requires a center high-mounted stop lamp (CHMSL) on passenger cars manufactured after September 1, 1985, and trucks after September 1, 1994. This light must be mounted on the rear centerline of the vehicle, typically higher than the side brake lights.
