Hey ladies and gents. notacarguy here. I've had my 2024 GT for a little while now, and I think it's time I stop being scared of breaking everything I touch. I found a local guy to install underglow for me (I like lights... judge all you want). However, I'm not local to that area anymore. The underglow has broken, and I'd like to repair it. I need to take the skid plate off in order to do this. I cannot for the life of me find any useful advice online about this, probably because it's such an easy task. But I'd like to get confirmation before I touch something and my entire car falls apart.

I've attached a picture. My question is: Do I just have to take all of these little guys out and I should be able to take the skid plate off?

As always, sorry if this is a dumb question. Just trying to learn. Thank you in advance.

Un do all the 7 mm screws and there are a few push pins that you have to pop out. Not to hard take your time.

You can also take a look at the MP Concepts Chin Splitter installation video from American Muscle. It shows how to take off the shield or skid plate. Just advance to the 3:40 point in the video - it's pretty simple. Hopefully, this is what you were referring to.

Here's the video:
