when putting a new front sway bar into the car recently i noticed the factory bar bushings resisted deflection fairly strongly. i was not able to move the bar up by even an inch by hand. i suspect it adds 30-60 lb/in of additional spring rate. this goes away with poly bushings. i suspect poly bushings decrease total sprng rate while increasing roll stiffness.. just an fyi for those considering this mod
