Who makes hub centric wheels? I don’t understand this - is it a Ford thing? It’s my first Ford so maybe I just don’t understand…

Ok guys help me understand… please - I’m absolutely confused… lol (not surprising)…

some wheels show to be HUB Centric that are 70.6mm bore, and others like SVE state in multiple places that some wheels are hub centric but some are lug centric (MHP1 for instance).

they all show a 70.6mm bore- what am I missing?

is that .1mm truly the difference between being hub centric and not? Do those that have bought the SVEs notice any vibration at all?

After the supercharger has been on for a month now I’m looking at wheels and tires and don’t want to make the wrong choice!

I really want to look at the MHP1s but if they are not hub centric may look elsewhere… I’m particularly sensitive to NVH and absolutely don’t want to add any!

thanks 🙏

I can’t answer your question but Www.LMR.com can and they have a great selection on tires and rims. I got mine there after supercharging my 2024 GT.

Most modern wheels are hub centric. Lug centric or hub centric should cause no difference in NVH if balanced properly. Hub centric is just stuck on the spindle of the balance machine... for proper balance of lug centric, it should be done with a hub adapter.

Buy whatever you like that is made to fit the mustang and you should be fine.

BTW, I don't see any mention of lug centric on the info pages for those wheels... (it's not very common).
