The nice thing about the ESS and other Centris is they are easier on the drivetrain. Depending on your use case you may not need to upgrade much else to go with it

That’s good to know I thought it would be a good bit more to add to the longevity of the car.

Yessir! If you go to the drag strip often or plan on putting on drag radials which give you a lot more traction you may need to upgrade the axles to the Ford Performance ones and/or the driveshaft. Yet to be known with ESS and ProCharger kits since we haven’t seen the number yet, but for whipples it’s a good idea since they make so much torque down low

But if it’s just driving on the street it’s probably fine with the stuff that comes in the kit

I will look in to it more if I can ever pull the trigger
I wish you the best man! If it happens the whole community will rejoice haha. I keep looking up all ESS S550’s on YouTube and everyone loves them lol

My original plan was to get an s550 and get an ess but I test drive an s650 and couldn’t turn back.

Are the 650s more refined?
I was looking for a good daily. And this is Werid to say but they are probably one of the most luxurious cars ford offers rn. Tech is great interior feels good and it looks amazing. I also liked the field of view better in the new gen.

My 2021 GT Premium had a Roush Phase 2 on it; kit, installation and tax was pretty close to $21k CANADIAN.

My 2024 Dark Horse Premium is getting a Whipple Stage 1 (only 8 more sleeps) and I think it's going to come to like $16.5k (kit, labour and tax).

Granted this might cost me some more money if I have to put my 19s back on and sell my 20s then get some PS4s for the 19s but it is what it is.

In the automotive world you learn not to ask questions like "Why is it so expensive".

If you really want a hoot go look at Porsche parts. Start small, say something like Valve Covers, and then work your way up.

So what would a GT performance pack cost with the supercharger added, $US55 - 60K?
What else is around with 700odd hp for that kind of money?
Sounds like a bargain.

Ok see I haven’t taken that into consideration. That’s a good point
