Vehicle Details:
• Model: 2024 Ford Mustang Dark Horse (S650 Platform).
• VIN: 1FA6P8R02R5502943 (Non-Handling Package from factory).
• Hardware Upgrade: Swapped the base steering rack for the Handling Package unit (Part Number: SR3Z-3504-C).
Current Status:
I have successfully addressed the missing configuration files. Using FORScan, I was able to write the correct As-Built Data and inject the Base Configuration (F10A) file. My Drive Modes are now selectable on the screen, but I am facing two major roadblocks:
1. Hard DTCs: The system is throwing U211B:87 (Control Module Message Authentication - Missing Message) and U2100:00 (Initial Configuration Not Complete) in the PSCM module [1, 1].
2. Mechanical Symptoms: The steering is extremely heavy (Zero electronic assist), and the dash displays "Steering Assist Malfunction" [1, 1].
Diagnostic Logs (FORScan):
• PSCM U211B:87-2F: Control Module Message Authentication.
• PSCM U2100:00-6D: Initial Configuration Not Complete.
• PCM U0416:00-2F: Invalid Data Received from VDM (related to the steering rack conflict).[1]
• Attempting the "ABS Calibrate Steering Angle Sensor" service procedure results in a Service procedure failed - Incorrect value or not configured message.[1]
The Question:
Since the S650 uses the new FNV2 architecture with TRON security, it seems the new rack is failing the Message Authentication check because it lacks the "Security Token" from Ford's servers.
• Has anyone successfully performed a Module Authentication for a swapped PSCM on the S650 platform using anything other than a dealer FDRS session?
• Is there a specific seed/key or a way to force the Gateway Module (GWM) to trust the new rack?
Note : i have no access to fdrs that im in saudi arabia
