Stuck between White or Silver

I own white but prefer silver. Silver ones are hard to find on dealer lots.

Silver will be easier to maintain, but if you ever need the services of a body shop, metallic silver is one of the hardest colors for them to match. I've had bad experiences even with the top-rated body shop in a major flagship city. Flat white (oxford white) is easier to paint match, but I personally like metallic paints better.

What about washing? Easy to take on and off?

Since the louvers are thin aluminum, a micro fiber towel gets all the way to the back window glass no problem. I have no need to take them off.

If I ever do, All I have to do is undo 6 acorn nuts that hold it on to the mounting plates which are 3M taped to the back window, and lift right off…..so yes, they are super easy to remove.

Though it was even easier on my 06 GT, those louvers were hinged at the top and the bottom was locked in place with 2 plastic clips that just swung out of the way underneath. So I just unclipped and lifted them up at the hinge.

I voted for white. Because as MidwayJ had stated " white is a blank canvas that can be much improved with accent colors". I put black accent strips on the side of my car, to offset all of the white on my Mustang. Prior to purchasing this car, I had a white 2019 Mustang GT Premium California Special. It came with similar stripes, which I added to my 2024.

….if I had one comment, you should have got the trunk blackout panel from Ford Accessories. It wraps around the trunk edges and comes with a piece of black vinyl to go around the trunk keyhole. You’d have a perfectly blacked out trunk with no white outer edges or visible white trunk space around the keyhole.

Highly recommend it! It was a bit nerve wracking drilling holes for the GT emblem, but fitment was perfect.

Again, love your car and what you added to it. That’s a solid reason for white….lol.

So guys I test drove a GT today and loved it. I have to say Ford done a nice job on this one. Very joyful ride, handles nicely and so nimble. Love it better than my Camaro that I have now sold. Very comfortable as well.
I saw one in Gray for the first time and I liked it since it's much lighter color in person. At this point out of the 3 colors I think I will just go with the better deal that I can find. I like all the three colors.

I've had a white car (hard to keep clean & looking good) and I have a silver car, in addition to my red Mustang. Between white cars and the silver car, many more people tell me I'm cool in my silver car.

Of course, Race Red is both fastest and coolest......

White Exteriors for me only now. Last 2 GT’s have been White with Black wheels and that will be my Spec till I’m done buying cars!!

Silver has more pizzazz. Pearl white, if it was offered, looks more attractive than flat white IMHO.
