On my 2003 GT vert, adding a 3 point Maximum Motorsports STB along with full length welded in subframe connectors made a huge difference in the tightness of the suspension as well as decreasing the cowl shake which that vintage was well known for. That's on a vert though and a model known for a loose stock suspension. Just my opinions.

I just installed the SR strut tower brace in my new S650. I also added the full metal cowel brace I got from a junkyard for $25. Whole install took around 20 minutes. The hardest part was getting off the little plastic piece that holds the battery cable to the tower bolt. The most time consuming part was searching for the plastic rivet I dropped into the engine bay. The only “oh, s***” moment was when the holes on the brace did not align with the tower bolts. Turns out I had it upside down. It turned out nice I think. The little Coyote plaque on the brace was one I had laying around from my previous Mustang. Hopefully this will take out a tiny bit of body roll without stiffening the ride.

Update: Just got back from a trip down river road and it made a huge difference in the corners snd under hard acceleration. . Unwanted flex (poor terminology that will upset some more sensitive members but not a structural engineer here) is almost non-existent now. Well worth the small investment of money and even smaller time investment.

Ok, just checked the SR installation instructions and I see 35 lbft specified. Please let me know if you have different suggestions, otherwise great. Thanks
