Have any of your purchased a spare wheel in the UK? If so where from? Experience of using?

I have one of those in my boot. Have been meaning to do a trial fit at some point to make sure it works but in 9 months I haven't gotten around to it yet. I got it from America shipping/ tax was reasonable even if the carrier charged the vat in £ on a price in $

If you got the spare from Automotive Authority. You dont need a spacer. It fits the rear and front.

Well sort of.....

IF you buy the newer 2024 onwards spare wheel from AA then you will get the correct offset for the new front brakes. If you have or buy one of the older (S550) wheels then yes you need a 20mm+ spacer.

I kept my old spare from my S550 and got a spacer.

I got my spare wheel kit from Carnoisseur, Road Hero Spare Tire, came with alloy wheel/ tyre, jack wheel brace, complete in strong bag for wheel & sip up bag for jack kit, fits in the rear spare wheel under the boot floor mat, not cheap thou, but for me a must have item on todays road conditions (pot holes etc)

I purchased a complete kit today!

There are a lot of narrow roads with round about here. Lots of opportunities for tire/rim damage plus a lot of new construction leading to flat tire!

I sent them an email to ask just that for my DH. They replied asking for tyre sizes which I duly sent.
Will post back their response.

Please test to see it fits before you need it. The S650 has bigger brakes and their website only says 2015 onwards. If it is for an S550 it will NOT fit without a spacer.
