Hello, sorry to revive this old thread but I spent all morning going over the numbers and wanted to post this so hopefully it makes it easier for the next person..

I have a base model ecoboost WITHOUT brembos. But I DO have the upgraded 19x8.5" wheels.

It seems the s550 spare would fit just fine over my base model brakes, but I was concerned about having a vastly different size spare wheel, even if just for a short drive to the tire shop.

This is what I have gathered from multiple threads here and some Google searches:

Google says the outside diameter of my 19x8.5 wheel with a 255/40 tire is ~ 27"

S550 spare is a 155/60r18 and has an outside diameter of ~ 25.3"

Automotive Authority spare is a 155/60r20 outside diameter of ~ 27.3"

EZ spare is 145/60r20 outside diameter ~ 26.85"

Other threads have pictures of both the AA and EZ spare fitting in the trunk well just fine.

I'll probably go with EZ spare since its slightly cheaper and slightly closer to my OD.

Thanks!
