I believe Ford should make the GT ventilated hood an extra-cost item for the Eco-Boost. Are you guys game?

I've looked around for a smashed or bashed 2024 GT with a decent hood, but haven't found one. A new hood, replete with the necessary mounting and latching parts, hovers around $1,600 plus shipping. That is a bit steep. I've found one cheaper from one of the site's sponsors, but they want $350 to ship it. So if you know of a 2024 GT hood in good shape (any color), I'd like to know about it. Why? I think the overall temperature you see on the extended dash readouts would be telltale.

@Alan Applegate ..... agreed. My wife (aka the boss) made an amazing cover from 3 king sized 600 thread count Egyptian cotton bed sheets for its summer cover. The GT is garage kept but the summer cover keeps all the dust of the top (convertible). The first version did not have a corresponding vent for the hood vent louvre. She cut one in with a velcro flap as the amount of heat that escapes (for at least a half hour) after a summer drive is amazing. The GT hood vent is very functional as a heat vent.
