The active exhaust is excellent. Having climate control on touch screen is terrible.
On the plus side, the climate controls are dedicated on the screen, so you don't have to page through a bunch of different menus to find them. Also, as others have said, set it on Auto and forget it. If you need to change the temperature or fan speed or whatever, and don't want to touch the screen, you can hit the voice commands button and tell Sync to do it.

The cooled seats are phenomenal!

One thing that I wish that Ford would change is the volume indicator. It does not need to be a huge square pop-up in the middle of the screen.

I do use auto but still needs to be changed a lot of times. Thanks for reminder about voice commands, I need to start using them.

Speaking of A/C controls, I don't think I am understanding this correctly. So since it's summer where I live, let's say I set the interior temp. to 68 and have the Auto set for 3 dots, highest fan speed. I when I first get in the hot car on a 90 degree day, will the A/C attempt to bring the interior temp down to 68 and then will the blower slow down and will the A/C maintain that temperature accordingly?

Same question for winter when it's 20 degrees out and I set the temp to say 80.

As you can see I'm confused and thew owner's manual is less than clear, at least to me.

I think that is what he is saying, but I never noticed it happening with my car, so when it was finally cooled off, and I got tired of the fan blasting so hard, I would tap that auto button again down to 2 or 1 or hit the fan speed to turn it down even lower sometimes.

The ungodly power, aggressive body style, giant infotainment screens, and gorgeous stitched leather interior, plus all the cargo space sold me on the GT Premium on the test drive. A couple of things I thought were gimmicks have really grown on me though and I honestly don't know if I would want to live without them ever again.

Cooled seats

I know heated seats have been around forever but this was something new to me that I absolutely love. Having my arsehole chilling on every ride has brought me to a level of comfort I don't think I'll ever go without again. I'm a sweat hog and boy does this make a difference on long trips.

Active exhaust

Slight horse power bump and fun noises at the touch of a button sure. It puts a grin on your face in track mode. But anyone can do a loud exhaust practically for free. But the real value I didn't really expect was on long highway drives putting it in silent mode. It does make a huge difference in cabin noise and gets rid of almost all engine noise. It makes long rides much more pleasant.

Two things that were afterthoughts have turned into two of my favorite features.
Kevi,
I agree with your two favorite features. I will be making my first long drive in August, and I'll see about cruising in quiet mode. For now, I am always in sport exhaust mode once I am a couple of blocks away from home. Glenn

When you have the A/C set to AUTO and you change anything manually, it will probably come out of AUTO. At least that is the way most of my cars have worked. To be honest, since I set my Stang to AUTO, I have never done anything manually. About the only thing I change is the temperature, and I ask Alexa to do that. It is quite easy, but you have to do it with a syntax she understands. If you don’t, she may ignore you or say she doesn't understand. I always say, "Alexa" to wake her up, and when she responds, I say, " raise the temperature to xx or lower the temperature to xx". She will respond with, "changing the temperature to xx," but she actually makes the change before she responds.
If you find the fans are not slowing down or speeding up depending on what you are trying to achieve, then adjust the temperature slightly if the cabin is close to what you want. The conditions may not allow the fan speed to slow or speed up based on the temperature you asked it to achieve. An adjustment of one or two degrees may get the effect you want and change the fan speed. I use A/C AUTO mode all year. I don't even shut it off when I put the top down. The only time I will manually set my heating/cooling is when I am experiencing extreme humidity conditions and AUTO can't figure it out. Glenn

But the "AUTO" button has three settings, right? I push it, it has three bars lit up, and the fan is high. I push it again, and now the fan slows to a medium setting with two bars illuminated, but, I push it again, and now it is one bar, and the fan is on a lower setting.

What I am saying is, I typically leave it on 3 bars. I push "AUTO." I leave it alone. It stays on high.

The fan does not slow down.

The AUTO setting does not show two bars unless I push it again to slow down the fan.

I am in Georgia, so it is in the 90s and humid here right now. If I start the car in the morning, however, and the air conditioning is left in AUTO from the day before, but the temperature outside is 70, with the sun not yet up, and my setting for the interior cabin temperature is 69, not extreme conditions, the fan will still blast on high and remain there until I tell it to do something else.

I will play around with it and see whether there is something I am doing wrong, but I have not found that the Dark Horse adjusts the fan speed on its own when left alone.

In more extreme conditions, such as if I had to park in the sun, it is 95, and sunny, I turn the temperature all the way down to "LO" because it blows even more air than if I left it alone in AUTO with 3 bars at 69 degrees (my usual setting).
