Smaller pulley for stage 1 Whipple?

I saw a brenspeed video on YouTube where they put a smaller pulley on a stage 1 Whipple. Has anyone else tried this? Would there been any issues with the stage 1 calibration? Someone told me I could go down to a 3.625 on the stage 1. If the 3.625 wouldn't work would a 3.75?

I talked to the people at Whipple and they said if you change the pully on a stage one kit, it will void the warranty . they also do have different tunes for different pulley. They also sell a stage 2 upgrade kit bigger throttle body smaller pully and new tune but it also voids the warranty.
