True but the dark horse has even better tires plus 500 hp and to my knowledge they haven’t touched 11s either. Like I said we will have to wait and see what happens. I’ll put it this way 11.80s bone stock is going to be difficult to do.
the dark horse has kicked ass in the road course. I haven’t paid attention to in on a drag strip but i haven’t seen anyone putting stock cars through their paces at the track like these people did for the 18.

also motortrend put down a 12.0 1/4 in the darkhorse. With a better driver and being heavier i guarantee it’s on or if not faster. But again it shined by far in the road courses.

Yeah hero runs have always been a few tenths better than Motortrend, i wouldn't expect any different this time, but not many people seem to be even trying.

yes I know before anyone says that is technically not showroom Stock I'm aware of that. But a minor exhaust upgrade and some E85 blend on a car not tuned for it on stock continentals without the performance pack runs 11's over and over again I'm just not ready to say the S650 is slower when more people are testing then the true numbers will show that imo

see this is where I have trouble believing that "bone stock" 2018 GT's can hit 11.8's. the LMR car in this video needed lowering springs, resonator delete, Mikey Thomson drag radials and a rear and passanger seat delete to hit 11.88. makes you wonder how "Bone Stock" S550's can hit the same number from off the showroom floor and would contribute to people saying the S650 is slower.

I’ve dug around 6g enough. 12.3-12.5s is the norm and on 24s 12.0-12.2 is the norm.

it’s just splitting hairs and the S550 owners just all want to believe it so whatever.
Ps I just ordered kooks longtubes so I’m making mods anyways.

in the end it doesn’t matter, these are quick street cars, faster than 95% of what’s out there already.
S550 owners are big in their feelings, wierd but whatever

Considering there’s a video of someone hitting 11.9 with the better air we have now vs when these cars weee released, I think it’s fair to say that the s650 is at least as fast as the s550. A larger sample size is needed but given the unofficial break in period and crap warm weather, I don’t think it’ll be long until 11s are more common.

The stock transmission shift points really leave a lot to be desired, these cars would all be 11.5s bone stock if the thing would actually shift 7500-7700

feels like some shifts are barely above 6k, i should be able to go through the traps N/A in 5th… not 7th.

Ah ok but with an e85 mix, an exhaust and carbon trap delete it’s not really comparable to the 2018 posts I made. That being said he did say it was like 1300 DA so maybe we will see that 11.80 pass soon, like I said I’m not saying the s550 is faster just that it is so far, we shall see.
