I would like to put the RTR chin splitter on but I'm concerned with clearance as my car is lowered on Steeda progressive springs. I've heard of people having no issues with the same setup as mine and other people say they scrape where they've never scraped before. What's everyone's experience with this?

It does hang about an inch or so lower than the stock splitter and it's obviously longer but overall I feel it's not too bad for daily use. The issue is steep inclines with sudden slope changes like coming out of a steep parking lot onto a highway. I go over speed bumps evert day to get to work and have never had an issue.

Take that with a grain of salt as I'm not running lowering springs due to not wanting to change the ride on my magneride as of yet.

I've had mine on for a little over a week and so far, so good, no scrapes. Been over numerous speed bump styles and my driveway has a little pitch to it. Key for me is if it looks a little too tall or steep, take it at angle and sloooow... magneride with steeda lowering springs

Cleannnn! I saw they didn't have the progressive springs for the magneRide s650.

I saw on steeda the lowering springs drop a .81 all around but I see you're on a aftermarket wheel set up? Staggered?

Might go the dual rate since they drop almost identical to the progressive springs and I'll be on stock wheels w 25mm spacers

Yes sir! 20x10 275/35 front, 20x11 305/35 Rear. They say .81, but it feels like it was more. I had the aftermarket wheels on before I lowered it. Stupid me didn't measure before, so will never know, haha. In my mind , it was an inch 😁.

Good luck in whatever you decide to do. Anything you do is better than stock height, get rid of that ugly tire gap!

how do you like the fit of those wheels? im looking to swap out around springtime for something similar. However the more im looking the more i kind of want to get a set of fender flares to better line up the edges of the splitter and rockers so i might try and beef up a bit in the front wheels as well.

I absolutely love it, this set up and the RTR kit match up perfect for the front splitter and the sides. Maybe a 285 on the front to push a bit more, but I'm not wheel smart enough to know if that would fit on a 10.

When we were putting these wheels on, the guy helping me didn't know they were staggered, told me the front right was buried into the strut coil. Sure enough it was, panic set in. Went and looked at the left front, it cleared no problem. Then realized he had put the rear tire on by accident, crisis averted!!!
