Should have bolts holding it down as well. You can try looking the one you're interested in on YouTube. I've seen a few installation videos. I would copy a link for you, but my internet isn't good enough at the moment to get YouTube up.I was asking rather because I'm worried that it's put on with double sided sticky tape and won't hold in a automated car wash. The ducktails that cover so much of the decklid are refrerred to as 'intergrated', replace the entire decklid unit and are screwed. That would make me feel more confident when it comes to stability. But I like the more subtle look of the smaller ones better.
But I guess the 3M stuff should be solid. I actually used it on both front and read number plates my old Land Rover Defender and they have been on for years. The front plate even dove through lots of Sahara sand.
So I think it will withstand an autmated car wash, mainly because of it's cloded shape that does not allow the rotating brushes to go somewhere underneath or in between.
Does anyone heard of a ducktail coming off in an automated car wash?
