Personal Profiles

Sorry if this has been posted before, I did try to search but cannot find a definitive answer. So I was reading in the in car owners manual about setting up personal profiles. It says to go into the settings tab, then the profiles tab. I do not have a profiles tab in my list anywhere. Is it because I have a DarkHorse with the Recaro seats, and since they dont have any memory settings that i cant make profiles?

I have the Recaros also but it seems the profile saves radio, nav, assists

HOW DO PERSONAL PROFILES WORK
This feature allows you to create multiple personal profiles enabling users to personalize vehicle’s settings such as seats and mirrors, as well as non-positional settings like radio, navigation and driver assist.

Positional settings are saved by holding a memory seat button. Non-positional settings are saved when you change a setting while a profile is active. You can create one profile for each preset memory seat button along with a guest profile.

CREATING A PERSONAL PROFILE
Use the touchscreen to create a personal profile. 1. Switch the vehicle on and leave the vehicle in park (P). 2. Select the Personal Profiles button under Settings. 3. Follow the instructions on the display.

Check out page 399 also for the Favorite if you haven't already. (toggle all the things for liftoff )

Assigning a Feature If there is no feature assigned: 1. Press the button on the instrument panel. 2. Follow the prompts on the touchscreen. To change the assigned feature: 1. Press Features on the touchscreen. 2. Press Edit Favorite. Note:If you assign an exhaust mode to the favorite button, pressing the button activates the exhaust mode, and pressing it again restores the previous exhaust mode.

Thanks for the reply. I did read all that in the manual, but my issue is that I cannot find the Personal Profiles button under the settings menu. Unless it is in another menu....Ill have to do some more detective work.. I was able to set the favorite though.......

I re-read the instructions in the manual, and it says "that one profile can be created for each memory button, along with one guest profile". So I am wondering if the profile feature is not available with the Recaros, since there are no memory buttons........

I am aware of the Custom mode profiles, but they seem more for the driving setup, The Personal Profiles handle things like favorite radio stations, memory mirrors, and memory seats, if equipped....Those settings interact with the memory 1 and 2 buttons on the door panel, if equipped
