I picked up a 24 GT Convertible Atlas Blue Metallic, off the showroom floor last week. It has stock sliver brakes which looks great however, what's the thinking on painting them red with a professional paint shop? Better to leave well enough alone?

Thanks, for your opinion.

I say paint them for a better contrast. If there are aftermarket caliper covers for these Brembo's I have yet to find them as I would like to change mine as well.

Brembo Brake Caliber Covers. Do this on any search engine, I use Bing. Ebay is just one place to sell them with every colour of the rainbow.

Thanks. I saw the eBay option but was skeptical about the “fit”. Not much risk $ wise.

Many of the 4 piston Brembos (mine included) are having finish issues. I'd warranty them but why put the same issue right back in it. I will likely have them painted.

Assuming silver isn't a powder coated finish, but natural metal, I would leave it alone as I think it looks nice and it's different as well. You really have to find an excellent shop that has a track record of doing powder coating well or it will not last. This is not easy. Just my 2 cents! Best wishes.
