It's true what many folks have said. The screens do in fact look much better in-person than in the pictures (not nearly as tacky). There isn't much glare either.

It is kind of laggy though, and the new start up sound does irritate me.

I've always like the screen(s) but I'm surprised how actual little glare there is. I get more on my other cars without screens.
Still waiting on mine, but I did sit in one at the auto show. I agree, the screens are much nicer than what you would think, and I ready Ford put a lot of effort into them to not have glare.

I just got close to my 1st one on the lot and the screens are WAAAY smaller than I was expecting.

Totally agree on start up sound. Its tacky and would be nice if we could turn it off.

Agree about the screens. But, I kind of like the welcome and goodbye sounds...just wish you could make them a little louder. šŸ˜‚

Agree...I was also anti screen ....only 2 things ...but

The laggy thing drives me nuts......

So, looking at the pictures and all I hated the new dash layout and the screens. There were a couple other things I didn’t like. I currently have a 2021 GT premium. So, this past Monday I was out killing time and swung into my dealer to look at one in person. I figured I would leave still disliking much on the s650. By the time I left, I had ordered one šŸ˜‚. The screens are amazing in person. The placement of them is spot on. The car seems to have more room inside, definitely more headroom. It’s easier for me to get in and out. I’m a larger guy. 6ft tall and 250lbs. I have to approach my S550, sit down and rotate my legs in and bang my head on the roof about 30% of the time lol. The s650… just plopped right in.

Makes your assessment worth that much more, easy for a fan boy to say how great they are, a bit harder for vocal opponent to come back and say well actually not that bad. Thanks.

That's something briefly mentioned in a few videos, never expanded upon. Pretty compelling point if it helped you decide to move from an S550.

Don't you hate when you leave the house for a drive, and come home having "purchased" a car? Also guilty of that in a previous life!

Well, honestly buddy have a couple complaints on the 2021. The interior components feel cheap and flimsy. Lack of headroom. Felt like the infotainment screen was positioned poorly. There were a couple of other things. One was why did they put such narrow wheels and tires on a car with a 450+ hp? Easy fix, I know, but shouldn’t have to for the price point. I still love the s550 it’s the funnest car I have ever owned, everything I drive it I smile and giggle like a school kid. However, the 2024 fixed every issue I had with it and went further.
