My car just got pushed back to 10 July

My Dark Horse Premium...Ordered on 3/28/2023. Original production date was w/o 6/3/2024...then 6/10/2024...then 7/15/2024...now 8/5/2024. I do have a VIN, so I guess that's a positive?

Same for me It was push from 7/15 to 8/5. I have ordered mine on 2/20. The way it's going I will have it in winter and will have to store it right away :-(

I figured everyone that was previously scheduled for 7/15 or 7/22 got bumped down to August including me lol.

Seems so, my email said "August 5" but my schedule date was "July 29". Website updated Friday to schedule "August 5", so everything last week of July got bumped to August.

Honestly, not 100% sure. I didn’t have a VIN until I got scheduled. Now that I’m scheduled, and I have a VIN, I would expect that the chances of getting the car would be higher than not having it scheduled and not having a VIN.

Should we all be concerned about how many cars have now been pushed to early August? Next delay coming?

Wonder why such a mass amount of movement? Saw engine shortages but thought that was only an issue for unscheduled orders

Can you cancel once you've been scheduled/assigned a VIN? @Ford Motor Company should offer discounts and/or special financing rates for those who have been affected. I'm starting to have doubts anyway after hearing about recalls, computer glitches, other QC problems.

no i dont think you can cancel once it has a vin

but you dont have to buy it they should give you your deposit back but sometimes they are annoying about it.

VIN= Order has an allocated spot to be put on a production schedule.
No VIN= Order has been confirmed but has not been allocated any spot on a production schedule.

Well it looks like the M2 I ordered could be at the dealership this weekend. I really was on the fence between the 2 cars. The Mustang keep getting pushed back to be frank kind of killed it forme. I have a feeling it will be pushed back even beyond 5 August. It looks like I will be back into a new BMW M car after 11 years. Im excited. I know I will miss the sound of the Mustang, but the M2 as a whole is a better car IMHO.

I ordered Mar 10th. Got a build date and vin March 26th with build of 4 Jun. Mid April slipped to Jun 17th.
May 3th slipped again to 22 July.
CANCELED the order. Drive a rental 550 miles and brought one home.
Life is to short.

I received an email from Ford saying it got pushed to 8/19, but when I check online it still says 8/12. What on earth are the folks at Ford doing?

Something is a miss. I feel there are a lot of QC issues they are dealing with. I'm not sure but why else is this happening? You won't get a VIN unless they have the material to build the car. My M2 arrives at the Port in 2 days and it will be at the dealership early next week. Ford has made the decision for me.
