Ender 3 is the long-time champ, but encourage him to save up for a Bambu Lab printer, ideally an X1 Carbon or P1S if he prints stuff like PA6/12, ABS, or ASA. if he doesn't, an A1 Combo would be good, because its not terribly expensive and still allows up to 4 filaments loaded into the AMS Lite. Bambu printers are really cool because they're basically ready to go out of the box, no assembly needed, fairly priced replacement parts and free online service guides, and the printer syncs with the Bambu Handy app and their slicer program, so you can remotely upload a model to the printer, and watch the printer print on P1 and X1 models. if he likes the building and tinkering part of 3D printing, tell him about Voron and Prusa, they have some really good printers that you can do basically anything with

at that time i was using Fusion 360. unfortunately, Autodesk made it suck, so now i use OnShape

Saw this storage organizer on amazon, didn't find any models of this anywhere, but I feel it'd be nice to be able to print this. Mainly just looking to have it on the passenger side, I just don't know how I'd go about modeling it.
