Hi - still negotiating some issues with my brand new GT vert.

While I was cleaning it, I noticed that there is a piece of trim on the passenger side rear wheel arch which is missing on the driver side…

The issue is that the dealer cannot find a part number for it in the U.K. We walked around the showroom and none of the Stangs had this piece on either side, nor the ones outside.

Maybe my American vert owner friends can help..?

Is this piece a US only thing?
Is it a MY24 throwback and not supposed to be on MY25’s?
Is it a convertible only thing?

I mean… I recognise the piece from my old 550, so maybe some genius at the factory forgot what car he was building for a minute..?

Does anyone else have these on their 650s or am I special?

Ooh! So I am special…

You’re saying it’s not that I’m missing a piece of car, it’s that I’ve got an extra piece of car…

This could go one of two ways…

The dealer could make good on his offer to identify and source the piece to fit (although it’s already been three weeks).
Or
He realises that it shouldn’t be there, doesn’t continue to search and suggests that the piece I do have gets removed.

In the case of the latter, does anyone know how I can source it myself?

My DH 24 non handling pack came with both side installed . Very useful when you cross over accumulated water on the street .

So! After requesting it be fixed by the dealer back in mid October, they finally fitted the missing piece today. The car is now symmetrical.

It only took 2 months and four visits to the dealer an hour away from me đź«

Thanks for your help, everyone!
