I keep one microfiber cloth handy, in my trunk, just for closing the trunk. I won't touch my paint with my bare skin. I use the cloth to lower the trunk lid until I can touch the brake light, then toss the cloth inside and close the trunk by pushing on the brake light. I would never do what this guy did with tape. I know it is painter’s tape, but as you said! WTF! Glenn
