S650 Mustang Kaleza’s dark matter gray GT build journal 591913-3c5c5d82f0f1aaaa6dba62f3b65b8333

Some months ago i wrote short story about my first car/build which was base 24 mustang eco. I really cherished and enjoyed that car and everything i did to it. But now in a new year its time for a new story.

So approximately a month ago i traded eco for dark matter grey 24 gt with pp, active exhaust, npp and equipment option. Car was parked for a month, i was waiting to get new tires because extreme continent sport 02 i had, were not suitable for chicago winter. Now with new Bridgestone potenza, I finally started driving the car and making some changes.

I will only post pictures with changes added because we all already know how the car looks from the factory.

All of the mods are purchased and waiting to be installed. I currently made some small changes. But this is the list of things im going to add in the next month or so. Ford performance sport axle back with black tips, diffuser, rtr side skirts, front lip, rtr quarter splitters, dark horse steering wheel, taillights cover, eos rear mud flap, matte screen protectors. I also plan to buy form lightning smoked tailights, and in the spring to put on the sve dhp1 wheels with summer tires. I also have to remove current window tint and install something less dark.

Without further ado here are some pictures.

Etsy wireless charger and billetworkz shifter, smoked side markers, mustang restyled rock guards, steering wheel black pony emblem, and airbags warning cover. I also have Tuxmat floor mats, but they are too dirty for a picture at the moment :D

GASP!! Dirty floor mats?! 😉 Only about 300 mi away from you in the middle of the mitten..........no garage/dirt driveway 😔; so right there with ya on the dirty mats.

Tasty bunch of subtle mods, and congrats on the GT! 👍

Hah i know disgusting right. Yep no garage here also, but hopefully that will change too. Also mustang is not the only car, but i will drive it throughout the winter, regardless of weather conditions so ill take a picture of mats in the spring hah. Thank you so much!

Looking good so far! I think I’m going to try and find one of those wireless chargers…still waiting on my Axleback to finish “processing” through Ford.

How do you like the Billetworkz shifter?

Thanks. Yea for some reason ford is rly slow with parts orders. I saw more than one design online and they are customisable. Honestly i love the shifter, is very smooth and comfortable to rest hand on it. Also shifting mechanism is much better then oem in my opinion, so no accidents shifts to manual or neutral

I need to get one of those visor warning covers. Does it blend in with the headliner pretty well? Nice dark matter gray!

sorry for hijack. question on contact02 tires. did the dry grip fall apart at low temp similar to pirelli? or sloppy, wet, winter traction just sucks? my brother was just visiting and had these on his car. they still seemed pretty "soft" even at 30 degrees. i was thinking about going to these but i try to stay on dry pavement

Nothing to be sorry for! Honestly i drove them in 30 and like 20ish degrees and i think it was very dangerous, there was 0 grip when accelerating, and breaking wasn't great. I drove the car in slippery mode and after few days just decided to park the car and not drive it at all. I would also add that there was no snow on the streets in Chicago and i still didn't feel like driving the car. So honestly i rly wouldn't recommend them in cold even when there is no snow or rain.

Visor warnings don't bother me like they used to. When I had my Corvettes, I had the visors redone in leather. Took them to a local upholstery shop. If memory serves me correct, it cost around $100 to have them done. Just food for thought.

How does the Etsy wireless charger work? I like the blue as it matches my color, I'll look for it on etsy.

You just plug it into usb slot and thats it, plus the magnet is very convenient to hold the phone in place.

Because in Illinois front license plate is required i didnt want to drill the car so i bought Craig's Custom Mustang Brackets which i think is really great solution. Installation is quick and easy and it is easily removable. I recommend it to anyone who has to have front license plate.
Also added valve caps to almost match the color of the calipers.
