I guess I should do an introduction. I was on the 6G forum and my profile carried over when I tried to sign up here.

I had a 2016 GT 401A manual. There's been a couple other vehicles since then, but most recently a 2023 Bronco Badlands Lux 2 door. Decided I wanted to get back in a Mustang. Looked into ordering one with everything I wanted, but just couldn't justify the price compared to what I paid for the 2016. So I started looking at the used market.

Found a black 2024 GT Premium automatic with 401a, Performance Package, Magneride, Active Exhaust, and other goodies for about $20k less than brand new. It only has 6,500 miles on it. It should be delivered on Monday, so no pics yet.

Glad to be back on here looking at what everyone has been doing with theirs and hope to offer advice where I can and share mine too.

Hello from Ohio! Here is my (former) beautiful S550 that I recently sold in preparation for buying an S650. I've been on the hunt now for about a month looking for that right spec that hasn't surfaced yet. It seems the 3.55 diff auto's are few and far between making finding something within a reasonable distance near impossible. Considering placing a new order but waiting to see what the 2027's hold before going that route.

As far as I can tell on Ford's build tool, the 3.15 is standard on autos. Unless it has the Performance Package which includes the 3.55 on autos.

If you're looking at what's new on dealer lots, I doubt they would have received any non-PP with a 3.55. There are a number of PP autos in Ohio, but if you're not looking for one with that package, you'll likely need to order.

Pretty sure the 2027s will be the same as 2026, based on what I've seen here already. Though, they could remove another standard feature. Like they did with wireless charging for 2025 and homelink for 2026.

In May of this year I found my GT at a local dealer, salesman and I drove there with a trade they needed. Mine spect with the 3.55 rear end, nite pony, 401a, auto and stuff. What you want could be out there. Thinking about it, it did come with the blade rear spoiler, & I put some carbon fiber on her.

Very nice, yeah I've seen a few pop up with 3.55s its just not in the right color, too far away or doesnt have the other options I've been looking for (400/401a, active exhaust). Have you driven a 3.15 car? I'd be curious to know how much different the 3.55 rear is.

That's beautiful! I know, I know, I have a black S650 but I always thought both the S550 and S650 are beautiful shapes.

Good luck with the specification Mustang you're looking for. I bought mine during the stop-sale in September last year, and I knew I could potentially wait for a different model to come on sale, but I had the luxury of this being my first Mustang so reasonably assumed I wouldn't truly know the difference. Sorry (but, you know, not sorry if you know what I mean) that you don't have that luxury!

Hey all!! I just put in an order for my mustang 10 days ago!!! Im in Ontario (GTA), Canada. Only have an order number and priority code 03. Was initially waiting for the 2027 order sheet, but then the employee pricing discounts got tempting and I doubt Ford would apply these type of discounts for the incoming 2027s., so pulled the trigger and placed my order. I'm sure you guys are well aware of the pain of waiting at every step until the vehicle keys are finally handed over to you lol.
Vapour Blue, GT premium High, Convertible, Bronze Package, Red Carmine leather, B&O 12-spkr, Active exhaust.
Any insights or advise on potential timelines and if by any chance the production rolls over into a 2027 MY?
