Interior Power Outlet/Battery Maintainer

I have used the interior power outlet to charge/maintain my batteries on many other cars. However, the Mustang owner's manual states this is a no go. Anybody using the interior power outlets to maintain their Mustang battery (sure is convenient)? Results? Thanks.

Nope. Normal battery maintainer here.

FWIW, I generally try to follow the instructions in the owner's manual, especially when it says, "Don't".
