Installing a Steeda Tri-Ax Street Short Throw Shifter On a 2024 Mustang GT

The manual transmission lives on in the 2024 Mustang GT, and if you have a manual S650 it makes a great first mod to get a dramatic improvement to the MT-82. With a shorter lever, this short throw shifter provides a 30% shorter throw and places the shift knob approximately 1" lower. You might have also noticed a slight buzzing or rattle in the shifter from the factory, this unit replaces the factory reverse lockout with a better fitting unit that reduces the overall NVH of the shifter itself.
