I worked in a steel mill that produced stainless, decades ago. The main building was gigantic with large, overhead cranes that rode on rails from one end to the other. Fire was always nearby but contained to minimize the possibility of it ever spreading. That said, I can understand if they had an incident. Or even two. But three fires in that short amount of time? Seriously, wtf?

Steve Fisher, Novelis president and CEO, made the announcement this week during the company’s quarterly earnings call.

“We begin the new fiscal year energized by the strength of the underlying business and confident in our ability to capture strong market demand for high-recycled-content, low carbon aluminum,” Fisher said. “At the same time, we are firmly focused on execution — serving our customers, commissioning our state-of-the-art aluminum plant in Bay Minette (Alabama), and safely restarting Oswego within the next few weeks, well ahead of our previous estimate of end of June.”

They plan to build:

- 328 "Base" DH SC cars
- 101 DH SC Track Pack cars
- 130 DH SC Special Edition cars

That is not a lot of cars for 4 weeks, but I am thrilled to see it. It looks like they are trying to get as many DH SC Track Pack / Special Edition cars in production before the cold weather sets in.
People who have those cars on order will be very happy.

Here we go with assumptions and you being misinformed? Where did i ever state i was getting a track pack? This is a combination of your lack of comprehension along with you making up your own details, like you and the OP have been doing. My allocation is for a base SC, thank you. Secondly, I’m not an arbitrator of fact and that is why i am on this post to begin with. The OP is connecting dots about a delay in production relating to fires at an aluminum plant when in FACT ford has not acknowledged or announced any delays to the SC. It’s amazing how anyone can access forums. You’re probably a kid or an ecoboost owner with no means to even buy the car that is being discussed.
