Since we’re talking about the fobs. We keep both sets of our fobs in a Faraday Box when not using. We started because at first my wife’s car had battery drain while parked. Forums suggested a Faraday Box to keep the fob signal isolated. The battery drain was later attributed to some bad programming in her infotainment system, but we still keep them there out of habit. at least we know where all the fobs are.

When we open the box looking into the garage, there is a circus of lights coming from both cars like anxious puppies ready for a walk…lol

I'm a little perplexed by this whole complaint honestly. Is it that hard to just use the fob?
I generally agree with this statement. This is from a mans perspective. However , most women do not have the key in their pocket but rather in their purse. There is no reason for my wife to ever take the fobs out of her purse for either of her vehicles. I completely understand why she does not want to dig through her purse every time , and the convenience of the fob really shines for her. I do not use the buttons on the doors of our vehicles , but she does every time. It would be nice if you could make it beep.
