I have a DH and installed Kooks LTH. Under an accelerated right hand turn with about 1/4 steering input the knuckle of the steering shaft rubs up against the headers and vibrates my steering wheel.

I installed BMR motor mounts to try and get the motor to stop moving as much under load. No luck. Was at the track this weekend and still rubbing. Bad!

anyone else experiencing this issue with aftermarket headers while on the track or spirited driving?

Have you tried loosening the motor mount brackets and shifting the engine a tad? Typically when people end up having the header hit the AC line or steering shaft you can loosen things up and shift the motor a bit for better clearance.

Hope that helps.

@CT22 Jake had this issue with his Dark Horse and the Kooks Long Tubes. He had to do a little shaving. (shared the timestamp)
