I've heard that the gains from a procharger are better under high rpm. Does that mean when you rev out, say 1st 2nd 3rd gear you would see a big increase when you are above 5k rpm?
Centrifugals build boost with RPM. They make almost none at lower RPMs. TVS/Roots/Twinscrew will make almost max boost at any RPM.

5k and up you're fine but you will feel the difference down low.

Wow - it does not surpass the Roots blower anywhere until after 6500-6600 rpm

"5k and up you're fine," well, yeah, fine, I suppose, but the graph shows a 100 horsepower loss at 5000 rpm!

And depending on your application this can be a better setup. If you don’t want to break traction with a sudden burst of boost, but would rather build power liberally, Centris are the way to go

LOL, my first car had a redline of 5,500.

My Pontiacs were 5200.

I have built engines where the redline moved up, a small block Chevy to 7,000, but it broke, so maybe that was too much . . .

It is still wild to me that this engine runs at such high rpm.

I hear what you are saying. I never know whether that hypothetical is true, though.

Maybe with the very close ratios of the 10A it does not matter much? I don't know.

Does anyone know how many of the Roush Phase 2 'Launch editions' were made? Seeing them for sale for a few $k more than the "plain" Roush Phase 2 supercharger kits.

Just want to say, I had the Roush Phase 2 put on my GT on Friday. They advised I not go TOO crazy with it for a few hundred miles. So I haven't slammed the accelerator to the floor. But oh wow...I can tell this is like a completely different car. It is SCARY fast now. Totally worth it. This is going to be so much fun!

awesome buddy I have one sitting in a box waiting to go on. Did you wind up getting the launch edition? And can you hear any of the whine yet even though you haven’t gone wide open throttle?

I've been reading that the procharge centrifuged supercharger has a tendancy to break the crankshaft. Any thoughts?
they sell an optional crank support. It’s between $600- $950 depending upon color preference.

It was the launch edition in the end. Not hearing any whine at least while in the cabin. They said there wouldn't be much at the start. Not sure how true that is or not but we'll see. All I can say is that this car is a BEAST now. And I thought it was great just stock!

Appreciate the reply. I’m gonna throw a smaller pulley on it and send it as soon as Lund is able to tune it lol, I’m sure it’ll scream then.

Think I've decided Roush Supercharger over the Procharger due to the Crankshaft issue. Would really like the twin turbo route but need to keep my cats
great choice! I was contemplating the same options.

I would jump on this offer if I was you (I actually did lol). https://ebay.us/m/2X3t4J

How has the ordering process been so far?
ordered it on a Monday got it on a Thursday. It’s through LMR and I’ve been dealing with them for 15 to 20 years I think. You won’t find a better deal plus free shipping.
