Hard wire rear view mirror for detector

I have a base GT and want to wire a V1 to my mirror has anyone pulled apart there mirror ? TIA for replies

Thought they had a usb power port behind the mirror or is that only for anything but the base model ??

My understanding is that is also does not have enough power for a radar. It would work for a cam though
