H pipe installed on 2025 GT active exhaust... damn (cold start and remoterev)

Right on!!!! Yeah, my wife and are are empty nesters and are taking a lot more road trips (hence the new vehicle), and she is not fond of the loud drone for hours, so this may be the best of all worlds for me… louder for me, but still quiet enough for her!!!

I’m not an old guy, but I act like one…. I love loud exhaust but I also like it quiet at times (which is why I got the active exhaust)… I want to get the H-pipe, but want to know how quiet it can be in the interior??? Thoughts?

(Incidentally, I’ve been searching for someone who’s done a db test inside, but couldn’t find it yet…)

if you use the quiet start and quiet when driving its amazingly quiet, night ad day from even normal... and world of difference from sport/track

H pipe in Sport/Track is quite a bit louder but in normal is not much louder and silent/quiet is still silent/quiet

Wellllllll, thanks to this thread, I installed the MBRP h-pipe last night and love it!!! Quiet mode is still quiet, but track mode sounds soooooo good!!!!! It was a pain making sure the tailpipes were aligned, though… still not perfect but it looks good.

Which one did you get? I’m running a Roush. Sounds pretty good, a little poppy when decelerating.

Other might offer a different point of view. That said, if you damage your exhaust running over road debris, you have it repaired or most likely replaced. Does not void warranty. Thus the same with an X or H pipe
