A coworker rented a new Mustang and asked me if my blinker sounded like a horse galloping. Mine just does the "normal" click click. A quick google search says that MY24+ does have this feature. She played a video of it, was wild.

My 2024 EC Premium had the 'trot' when I first got it. It did so when the door was first opened. Now, with several software updates, the only time I hear it, is when the key is in the ignition and I open the door.

As I've mentioned before, record the sound, put it into QuickTime or other recording app. Copy it several times, and speed it up about four times. What you hear is straight out of a Hopalong Cassidy radio program from the late 40s early 50s. (Yes I'm that old!)

As I have mulled this over too many times... I think it would be nice to be able to select the chime you wanted for each operation. After all, most smart phones allow you to select what you want, and even to record or download just about any tone. Of course (or alas), the lawyer crowd would have too much to say about such silliness!

@Farmer Fran ..... that must have some pretty decent $hit she was smoking, and from the comments she wasn't alone.
She literally played me a video of it. I will ask her to send it to me and I will upload it

BLINKER!
That doesn’t sound Factory and seems if the Indicator is malfunctioning (erratic lighting sequence). I personally don’t think I’d like that at all.

Does your friend have a brake light out? I don't really think this is what's happening, but typically the blinker will hyper-flash to indicate you have a bulb out.

Pretty neat if this is a real option!
