Not a great fan of Official Govt "Services", however if your in NSW or ACT, you might find this (and its Map option) helpfull for the best local pricing on your vital 98: (also the NRMA Membership app that comes with your new Mustang will give you 5c/L discount at most Ampol)

PetrolSpy app is good for Qld
Not just for QLD, but across the country!

Android here...

I tend not to use it because of the ads, and a paid-for "pro" version doesn't seem to exist.
I have no problem paying a reasonable amount for an app that is useful.

For QLD, I'm always using the free RACQ Fair Fuel app.
No ads.

You do not need to be an RACQ member to use this, and it highlights where the RACQ discount is accepted.

I've been using the PetrolSpy app, but I'll have to check out the RACQ one...

My dealer told me that I can use any fuel 91 upwards, obviously without the same performance... but I'm not sure I fully trust that - maybe if you get caught out and can't get 98, but not for daily use...

READ: we filled the tank pre-delivery with 91 because it's cheaper, but it's totally fine for the engine though.......................................we hope.

Lucky a tank of fuel doesn't last long... :)
According to FordPass, I've done 198 km on 68% of the tank's capacity. That's from brand new and a full tank on delivery.

This was taken before the above figures, but the 21.6 L/100km has sat at the same level, I wear that like a badge of honor............................

I can't speak for down under, but in my locale (SE New Mexico) 91 octane is all you can buy at the pump. You can buy 105 Octane unleaded racing fuel, but it contains more ethanol TBE than Ford allows (warranty). At about $9 a gallon, I say no thanks. The 100 octane unleaded is a bit cheaper at $6.80 a gallon. Putting 5 gallons into my 2024 Eco-Boost on top of a half tank of 91 octane didn't do squat!

I'm just on my 3rd tank, and I've only put 98 in, as per the specs.

I was pretty happy with mine last weekend - we did a 300km road trip that consisted of heading across town in the city traffic, headed west out into the hills, over Mt Mee to Woodford, down to the Sunshine Coast, and then back home along the freeway. And it averaged 10.1 l/100

You got me there Adam, I'm right under the "g" tail under North Woll (Ampol), which also has a 5c/L NRMA Discount!

I get that out of my 2021.5 on a spirited trip also, three Overdrives probably helps - if you have the 10sp Paddle Shift.
