Sitting patiently waiting. If an automotive generation is more or less 10 years and this the is seventh generation. Seven times ten is seventy. 2023 minus seventy is 1953 … oops too far. So we used a seven, ok add that, and we used a ten, ok add that. Now we’re at 1970, hey look hood scoop. That’s so retro, let’s make it a vent instead. Ok, pop the hood, hey dual ram air, hmm… let’s make them nostrils…. Breaks over, ok back to work….

Actually 10 years for 6 completed gens puts us at 1964.5 + 60 = 2024.5. So that math is only off 1 year. 7th Gen is just starting.

No hood vents (not like the Shaker), but we've got wider tires. No fun colors, but we have all the tones from a black and white tv. And you can still shift your own gears

Haha, your journey through the Mustang's generations had me chuckling! It's fascinating how design elements evolve and pay homage to the classics. The hood scoop-turned-vent is a clever twist, and those "nostrils" add an extra touch of character. It's all about blending nostalgia with modern innovation. Keep us posted on any more discoveries you make under the hood!

The person in the passage is trying to figure out what year the seventh generation of a car will be released. They know that each generation is about 10 years, so they multiply 7 by 10 to get 70. They then subtract 70 from the current year, 2023, to get 1953. However, they realize that 1953 is too far back, so they add 7, the number of generations, to 1953 to get 1960. They then add 10, the average length of a generation, to 1960 to get 1970. This is the year that the seventh generation of the car will be released.
The person then gets excited about the design of the car, imagining a hood scoop and dual ram air. However, they decide to make the hood scoop a vent and the dual ram air into nostrils, giving the car a more retro look.
The passage ends with the person going back to work after their break. They are clearly excited about the seventh generation of the car and are eager to start designing it."

Been done, this is ‘all new’, hmm, let’s turn it into a vent? 1971-1973 had dual ram air option? Nice, let’s see if we can sneak that in… Let’s get back to the present before we experienced 1974……
