For those that have a Samsung S24 or similar phone, I figured out how to make the wireless charging work. I know a lot of people were complaining about it not working, but that's not true.

Here's what you need to do: Get a basic case (nothing with Magsafe, or stands, etc...). Then create a "while driving" Routine. In the Routine set up your phone to go turn on "Power Saving" mode every time your phone connects to your car. This runs the phone much cooler and allows for the wireless charging to work properly. When you're done driving the Routine, it will reverse and turn off the Power Saving mode. I just drove for 20 minutes and my phone went from 95% to 100%!

I'm sure there is a similar "Routine" app on Apple phones as well.

Apple doesn't require any software change. One thing I have noticed, however, an Apple iPhone doesn't always charge fully due to a bit of overheating. Take out the rubber pad and it doesn't do that, but the phone slides around, so I leave it in. No real issues.

this also works for fast charging in general. if you dont put it into power saving mode, the phone quickly gets too hot and disables charging. oddly, on my phone, using Google Maps with Android Auto also causes it to overheat, but maybe that was fixed, i havent tried it in a while
