Am I doing something wrong? I can get it loose but then the throttle response is gone and it stops me. I was in track mode

"In the 2024 Mustang GT, when you switch to Track Mode, the StabiliTrak (referred to as AdvanceTrac in Ford terminology) is not completely turned off. Instead, its intervention is reduced and tuned specifically for track usage. This means that while some level of stability control remains active, it is less intrusive than in other driving modes. However, you can manually disable AdvanceTrac further by holding the traction control button for approximately 5 seconds, which then allows for more wheelspin and less electronic intervention."

I highlighted the relevant parts. Do enough hooning, and the nannies will intervene. It’s misleading to say that you can ‘manually disable AdvanceTrac’, when in reality you can only minimize its intervention to the lowest amount allowed. You’ll be able to get away with a lot, but the electronic intervention is always there lurking in the background.

I’m not throwing shade on you @POHLHAMMER, but the description of the method and effect provided by ( I think ) the manual.

I should have noted , this is what GROK AI told me. I copied and pasted it. I am sure you are correct.

Can you still unplug the connector under the hood by the driver's side wheel well to disable all the nannies? Thought I came across that somewhere, but have never tried it. Yet.
