Drifting and drift brake.

Just picked up my Dark Horse manual. I was wondering about drifting. When you put the car in track mode it automatically disengages track control. Is this enough with the drift brake to make it drift properly without interruption? Or do I need to press and hold the track control button to disengage the Advanctrac as well for it to slide properly without interruption? I tried with just track mode and had mixed results. What do you guys think?
