I know the best route is go headers but I’m trying to get some few hp increases while giving a “ stock “ look

Read online that a cat delete without a tune will send the car into limp mode.
I just wanted to know if anyone had gone catless and what their experience was like after

I have not done this, going ctaless on the stock headers, but I would say you would receive an error without a tune to handle the O2s

It has been said you can purchase some type of O2 delete device? But I have not pursued that option.

Horse power gain is marginal - at best - the bigger issue is .... if you live in a state that requires an inspection for annual registration, you're registration can / will be denied and in the extreme you can be fined for the cat delete. If an ispection is required for an ownership change, you will need to reinstall the cat and lastly, a dealership will not accept a vehicle without a cat on a trade .... For a street driven car - bad idea FWIW
