We added blue bulbs to my son’s S197 and I really liked the look. I wanted to do similar to my S650 but you can’t just swap bulbs. I did find this alternative. The multicolor led dome light from Diode Dynamics.
The install is super easy. Just remove the dome light and replace the oem green led unit with the black one from Diode Dynamics. Just make sure to transfer the black rubber switch housing from the oem unit to the new one before reinstalling the cover and make sure to set the little switch pin properly once the cover is reinstalled.
It really adds a cool look. I went with red but you can choose from many different colors.
