I have a 2025 DH, with the handling package. As I can't find a front facing camera at this time that I believe will fit and work down there, I want to take the front splitter off until I can come up with a something that will work. AS I currently have a medical issue that keeps me from getting down/under the car to access the situation there, I don't know how difficult it will be to take off, or if it is a part of the handling package that needs to stay there. I really don't want to take it off, but I don't want to destroy it either with all the parking lot barriers anf steep entrances to stores, gas stations, etc.. Any input will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the info on your splindid driving record. But, I think what I was looking for (and did not convey my thoughts well) was how difficult is it to take that splitter off. I will, take your advise under consideration, but after 60 years of driving, I think I know how to park

You'd have to replace it with a non-HP splitter or your front bumper cover would be incomplete. Not my video:

First, sorry to hear of your medical issues, best of luck with that. Forgive my stupid question, but if you're not able to get down there to look, how do you intend to get down there to take it off?

I've taken off bumpers and other stuff on Mustangs before, so I suspect that it has a boat load of screws and tabs, clips and other annoying fragile crap that you'll have to work with. It's designed to be easy to assemble, and replaceable since it's likely to be damaged often.

That said, I would suggest that you leave it alone unless you never go fast. All of that aerodynamic stuff (splitter, wing, etc.) is designed to work together. Take one off but not the other, and the car may exhibit unexpected behavior at high speeds. I mean like over 50. Seriously.

These cars are difficult to park, as you have no idea where the front end is. I don't have a front camera either.... I just park far, far away from curbs. Or, I supose, if you need to get close, just back in?

Just back in whenever you park Skeeter, the rear camera is great. It's a Mustang, drive it. I get rock chips before I leave the dealership every time I buy a new one. Within 2 miles, a chip/crack in windshield...I had to let it go so I can enjoy the car itself

As others have mentioned. I just back into spaces that are of concern to me. After almost a year of ownership I have finally figured out where the front end sits and can pull into spaces as well without running into the curb stops.

Okay, so, I just did the opposite so I can speak here.

It doesn't really "come off". It's all one part. If you take off your HP splitter, you'll have raggity looking exposed mount points. It won't leave the "upper splitter" part like you have on a non-HP Darkie or GT. You'd need to buy a different splitter and install it.

Backing in parking does well with the back camera! No problem at all!
