So how did you get that price? anything special
Not sure. It just came off the truck that day. We went in looking at a GT and didn't think it looked musclely enough and the salesman said would you be interested in a DH? The salesman was new but told me he could get us in it for the 66,995. Not sure what happened but when financing the final price was $66,215.00. 1st time I've felt like I got a good deal on a vehicle

Try California! Prices are freaking awful high. Tax alone around 8k if not more. Some of you guys got it pretty good I'd say.

Same boat, like real gauges. I got used to the screens. A matte screen protector over them made a world of difference. Ford uses the shittiest anti-reflective coating I've ever seen. It's completely worn away from where the home icon is on the screen just from my finger touching it, I'm the first owner and the coating didn't even last 6 months. Screen protector needs to be top priority if you get it.

The screens have their merits but they're not going to age well. Like all tech it's just a short time before the newer stuff seems way faster and better. You can already compare the responsiveness of our screens to the ones in a BMW and you'll see what I mean.

They're also horribly difficult to use while driving, might as well whip out your phone and start texting.

I love the positives that the screens bring, don't get me wrong.
I do also really hate the negatives.

If there were physical controls for everything + screen controls I would like the screens way way more. But even the physical buttons are a weird capacitive touch bar now.

The Boss LS is going to be highly collectible.
This new DH you're looking at, not so much.
It would be better if it had the HP.
Think about non HP Mach 1s, IMO this DH will be about as collectible as those are.

Ive owned close to 20 Mustangs in my life. I am currently hunting a 2012 Laguna Seca or Reg Boss 302. I found a rare ingot Silver LS w/ 7000 miles but i couldnt take the pics i recieved, ( i could show them if anyone wants) So then i found 2012 white Boss with 6000 miles and had it inspected today. It was painted everywhere. (pics of that also) So my usual Ford dealer has been sitting on his one and only Vapor DH for months and can't sell it. It has every option but the handling package. MSRP $74,755 and I could get it for $66,000 I just can't get past these TV screens dash. I love and want real guages but it's not the time. Any advice? Any owners like me but now love the screens. They just look stuck on also and not built in. Is this car going to be a collectors item?
Personally I don't like the big screen but anyone that rides in my car tells me that they like it. I don't mind it as much anymore but that is mainly because of the option to customize gauges and colors

It's important to remember that in the 60's and 70's, our 'gold standard' muscle cars depreciated right off the lot too and by about '78 - '80, a 351C Mach 1 was pretty darn cheap. Big blocks were commanding more $$ but not insane amounts more.

Now, 50 years on, you're going to shell out more than the car actually sold for to get a barn find version.

For my 0.2 cents...I absolutely hated the screens only due to the fact I have to use them for HVAC controls. If I had knobs for HVAC and sound, the screens would be fine.

That said, I have found little short cuts on the HVAC controls and they bug me less now.

Now THAT said...my only other mustang I've owned was a 2013 Boss 302 I bought brand new. It was hands down the funnest vehicle I've ever owned. The 2025 is awesome, but its 300 lbs heavier and is just a larger car. Also, I will never forget how crazy it was to use the "red key" in the Boss and I could see the hood shaking from the cam lope. I might keep looking for the Boss if I were you.

I’m not a screen guy, tech guy by any means….with that being said they aren’t a big deal and I actually like them. With change in the mustang over the years it always helps to focus on the positive stuff and ignore the hate……great cars, great motor…..collectors items, no way

I will say I wasn't the biggest fan of the screens at first and during the daytime I'm still not... but at night? I would say that's where the payoff really is. The way they just blend into the car they look great. They will grow on you and the customization is amazing. They prob should have stuck with the digital layout that was in the 18-23 models but it's really not that big of a deal. Get the car if you want it, if it speaks to you and you'll enjoy it all the same.

I can't speak for non-HP, a lot of people say the ride is better, I know mine is a little stiff but it's a sports car, not a luxury car at the end of the day. Best of luck on your decision. If you can't justify it, go look for a used one. I got mine, 1400 miles, (2024 HP Manual Premium) for 54kish, basically let someone else eat the depreciation and waited until December to buy when dealers were desperate to get rid of it.

I myself still aren’t fond of the gauges in my 24 Dark Horse HP. They kept me from buying a 24 right off the bat but finally gave in as they certainly aren’t going back to analog.

The drive mode animations are goofy and it’s dumb that none of them or the pictures match the car. At the end of the day my biggest gripe is that Mustang gauges are iconic and instantly noticeable to most. This display has ended that completely.

I have a different opinion.
The track mode gauge setup, ... there's just nothing to dislike.
