Insurance now over $1400 every six months. Can't wait to leave Michigan.
Get some quotes with other companies. I have 3 vehicles and pay $1100, it was up to $1800 with Progressive (increases the last couple years...) so I told them to GTFO

I live in a crappy zip code too.
All insurance is at the expense of everyone in the risk group. That's how it works. That's why I still carry unlimited PIP (and pay for it). But for folks who choose to NOT carry it and save themselves a couple hundred bucks a year: Many would/will be SCREWED if they were ever involved in a catastrophic accident.
It's a fucking joke and the feds should step in and overhaul our insurance system.

Mind saying who you insure through? I checked all the major players.

No, I mean fix it so we aren't the second highest paying state. Get rid of some of the bullshit they charge us for.
GL with that, they don't fix things for the common folk. It's been my lifelong experiences that anything they touch goes from bad to worse.

Looking for input. MBRP has told me that Ford gave me a bit of a mishmash upgrade on my exhaust. And that is why the EB exhaust doesn't fit. Apparently I have 5.0 exhaust after the y-pipe which is a VERY similar, but larger OD.

Below is their drawing of what the EB should look like.

This is what's on my car:

Does this make sense to anyone else? Would Ford do this? Seems like work they wouldn't do (meaning having to flare down the pipe pointed at to fit on the EB y pipe)...

This is the exhaust I ordered for the 2024 EcoBoost, it DID NOT fit.

BE DULY ADVISED - I highly recommend measuring your factory exhaust OD before placing your order.

I had to actually use this one from the 15-17 V8.

So the replacement part arrived and fit easily. I will say that I'm happy with the actual product once the one that fits properly arrived, HOWEVER, I'm still not thrilled with MBRP's customer service. They did "overnight" me a replacement -- which got stuck in customs for 2 days, meaning I was out of a running car from Monday eve, until about 230 today (Friday) due to an error which I still believe is on MBRP. The attitude and response I got when I requested they pay for the return of the wrong size, particularly after being delayed DAYS, was very poor. Basically - we did our part - kick sand.

Videos to come, but I will say product is good, but I wouldn't choose to work with MBRP again.

MBRP Armor Pro Stainless Axel Back with CF Tips.
S650 Mustang DannyJ7's Ecoboost 1725968698722-mv

Value:
6/10 - the product is essentially some bent 2.5" stainless and fancy tips. MBRP WILL give you a healthy discount if you simply ask. After everything was said and done including sending back the piece that did not fit, I'm about $360 all in. It does come with a lifetime limited warranty.

Ease of install:
7/10 - this assumes you get the right size out of the gate. It does require cutting off the factory mufflers - which cannot be simply put back on if you wanted to. If you know what you're doing, you can do this in less than a half hour.

Idle sound:
8/10 - a bit rowdy on cold start - sounds great though it'll never be a 5.0.

WOT sound:
8/10 - the right kind of rowdy! There's an underpass on the way into town that I cannot help but go WOT through every time I get to it now!

Overall:
7/10 - Assumes product fits first time. My experience with MBRP was not good. This is a solid product with great sound for a relatively reasonable price. I know the car is on now and, despite essentially being straight piped now, it has no noticeable drone at highway or cruising speeds. Easily cuts 30lbs off the back of the car. Overall weight of each side is down from well over 20lbs to just over 5lbs.

After thinking long and hard, I decided that the RTR rear decklid spoiler is the best fit for where I'm taking this build (a traditional grand tourer). Site for product does warn of 2-3 week wait plus 2-5 business days to ship.

RTR does offer a healthy military discount of ~10% on most products.

Including discount, shipping, tax etc it came out to just over $340 - which is a bit steep compared to some other options out there. I feel the premium is worth having a solid product that fits my end purpose.

RTR Decklid spoiler just arrived. First impression is that this thing is SOLID and well manufactured. I was concerned given the price, but it really appears very well made and I'm excited to get it on this evening!

@RTR Vehicles Decklid Spoiler

Value:
8/10 - Solid piece with great fit and finish. All the pieces needed to do the job (I did not need any adhesive solvent) and well explained and diagramed instructions - that need to be downloaded and printed. RTR should include color copies of instructions in package at this price point.

Ease of install:
8/10 - This is relative given what the piece is. I wouldn't recommend a complete novice attempt this install, but it's far from difficult. Again, all the parts are there and instructions are thorough.

Looks:
7/10 - Subjective, and yes I did pay for this...

Overall:
8/10 - Solid product, good value, and not terrible to install.
