Crackling Noise

Hello everyone. I’m running into an odd issue on my S650 that’s been occurring for a while. When driving with the windows closed, around 70 ish MPH or above, if I lower the radio, from the driver side dashboard it kinda sounds like a crackling noise. Almost like wind is forcing through. I’m not sure what it can be. Does anyone have any ideas?

Do you? Thought it was only me. I’m just overall experiencing weird things with this car honestly. Door panel has a slight rattle on bumps, crackle noise, and just noticed my car is a tiny bit low on coolant compared to the first day I got it, which I assume was air bubbles working their way out. Very odd.

Yes. Above 70mph I have a rattle / crackle noise from the driver side front area. Like wind is catching something. I’ve tried to look for anything possible loose and can’t figure it out.

Same exact thing. Literally. I looked behind the motor and tried to see if a firewall grommet is messed up, doesn’t seem that way. Air must be finding its way in somewhere.

I’ve had it to the dealer twice and they can’t hear or say they removed some rocks from skid plate. Driving me crazy. Literally the only issue I have with the car. What trim is yours? I’ve got a GT premium performance.

Let me know if you ever somehow figure it out. Irking my soul. Also, have you noticed any other weird things? Such as odd door panel rattles on bumps?

same issue with me. Windows up driver side door rattles. Something tells me it’s the plastic lining that is hitting the glass. If I pull the driver side door panel a bit towards my side it goes away for a bit. But it’s back as soon I get on lil bumpy roads. The rattle is noticeable on the passenger side too.!
Windows down - there is absolutely no rattle at all.
looks like some sort of a liner is missing on the door panels to be able to reduce this rattle noise.
Does anyone have a fix?

same issue with me. Windows up driver side door rattles. Something tells me it’s the plastic lining that is hitting the glass. If I pull the driver side door panel a bit towards my side it goes away for a bit. But it’s back as soon I get on lil bumpy roads. The rattle is noticeable on the passenger side too.!

Same. It’s just odd. I’ve learned I kinda just gotta leave it. Dealer won’t know anything.
