My side and back windows are done with Stek ceramic tint. No complaints.

Have std on all my trucks , ceramic on the mustang. I would say not much of a difference to be honest. Just find a good installer is the main concern.

I really like the ceramic tint. Had standard before and I can tell a big difference in heat dissipation with the ceramic tint.

I am reading ceramic is not as dark? Easier to see out of at night?

Have ceramic tint on my Mustang and it's hugely better than standard tints I've had in the past.
My wife's Cadillac has regular tint on back and Ceramic tint on front windows and you can tell the difference in touching windows on the same side (like drivers side front is cooler than drivers side rear).

It depends on the tint percentage you go with. Ceramic is the same as standard in that regard. It does not let more light in compared to the same percentage of standard tint, if that's what your asking.

From AI

"Yes, ceramic tint is generally considered to offer better visibility at night compared to other types of tint, like dyed or metalized tints. This is because ceramic tints are designed to reduce glare and block heat without significantly darkening the window, allowing for clearer vision in low-light conditions. "

^ +1 one on finding a good installer.

I'm not a fan of ceramic tint and I like the standard tint as long as it's done by a quality installer. I'm not a big tint guy in the first place, but if the dealer puts it on - then I guess I leave it on.
Why are you not a fan of ceramic tint? There is no downside other than cost

You're not a fan of ceramic tint but you like the standard tint.

Tell me what you dislike about the ceramic and why you like the standard tint.

There isn't any optical difference, so I really wajt to know this logic.

Not a big fan of tint in general other than the one that comes standard from the factory that you can't really see as much.

Maybe if I open myself up to additional ceramic tint appearance options, I would like it more. The ones I've seen on high-end luxury vehicles don't look very appealing for some reason or maybe I'm just ignorant and not understanding and appreciating ceramic tint for what it is and what it brings to the table. I may have to research it further and look into it so I can gain that appreciation.

Appreciate you stimulating my mind.
The OP posted a question about the differences of Ceramic and standard tint. If you aren't a fan of tint in general and don't know the difference between ceramic and standard, why post that you don't like Ceramic? 🤔

I have ceramic and can confirm it does reduce heat better. Visually there is no difference. Many tint places in my area aren't even offering standard anymore. Hope that helps. 👍🏻

You're welcome.

I forgot to add that you still get the heat reduction benefits of ceramic even on lower tint percentages (meaning less dark). For that reason I may do a light tint on my windshield.
